Accessibility

The DDA (1995) states it is a legal duty to ensure that web services are available to as many people as possible. In the UK, the DDA (Disabilities Discrimination Act 1995) states the duty to take reasonable steps to supply business services or products to disabled persons (i.e. a disabled person must not be treated less favourably than anyone else).
The Cheshire Collaborative Family Law Group website has been designed and built to be accessible with all potential users in mind.
The requirements of users with impairments, which may affect the way they use our website, are catered for with the following accessibility features:

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

Cascading Style Sheets control the size, positioning, colour, formatting and actions (to some extent) of a website's content. CSS can greatly aid accessibility to users. The Cheshire Collaborative Family Law Group website utilises CSS and users can change the size of the text elements on our site using the following commands:

Internet Explorer

View > Text Size > Select choice from:
Smallest / Smaller / Medium / Larger / Largest
or,
if you have a wheel mouse:
CTRL & wheel up/wheel down to cycle through sizes

Netscape and Mozilla

View > Text Zoom > Select choice from:
Smaller / Larger / 50% / 75% / 90% / 100% / 120% / 150% / 200% / Other...
(select yourself in %)
or, CTRL & +/- keys to cycle through sizes
